Dude, how old are you...? Seriously, if you are a true dreamer then your English should/would be better than that.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I just get annoyed at people who repeatedly use broken English just because they are on the Internet.

Now to your question about asylum seekers. The reason many Dreamers still get deported after they use the "asylum" card is because the prosecutors know that it is just a ploy to stay here. (Not that it couldn't be true. They may seriously be in danger if they go back to wherever they are from.)

Many asylum seekers actually apply as that from other countries, because they are fleeing from them. So those types of cases are the ones that are looked at with more legitimacy than someone who is a dreamer.

Hope that answers some of your question. If you want to find out more about asylum seekers click on this link.

Here is the thing though, reports have surface denoting that getting legal status through asylum is highly unlikely, specially post-9/11. Over the news they mentioned how over the past several months there had not been a single asylum case that was approved despite the increasing level of violence around the world and threats to many people (in this case the article was focusing more into mexico's violence and immigration).

Look the thing is not whether the person is a dreamer seeking for asylum, or someone comes from a country where many people may be legitimately fleeing from, its about how much proof you can supply to corroborate your study and how that proof has to support your case beyond reasonable doubt.

I don't know about you guys, but I fled a country because some group was trying to kill me I would not go around trying to see what I can take to prove that I am fleeing because of a threat and whether a court in a different country will consider that true beyond reasonable doubt, I would just flee for my survival.

Well, playing the asylum card is like an all-in scenario. If you petition is approved by a judge, you will be allowed to stay here. However, if the petition is not approved, you'll get a deportation order.

Sometimes it's better to stay under the radar rather than seeking asylum.

Why is that funny? If you're familiar with this board you'd know that most of the long-term, loyal DAP users here use proper, grammatically-correct English.

Again, most.

I do not think it really matters to be honest. As long as the second party understands why does it matter?

10 page research paper: It matters
Internet: lol

Legible communication even if it's not for a grade is still very important.
