I just finished nursing school and getting ready to take the NCLEX in a month or so, but I'm in little bit of dilemma. They are requiring fingerprinting as one of the requirements of criminal record check or so. Will they check my immigration status, and if they do will it disqualify me from taking the boards? I do have a SS# to take the boards.

My dad took NCLEX last year and had to do the finger printing as well. He did have a valid SSN (but not allowed for work) and didn't have any problems. Good luck with the test. I heard it was hard (my father took it twice)!
