With the news that we have seen on TV about the change of powers from DEM to REP we need to get moving and moving extremelly fast. We have until the day before the next senate and congress take session to push for the DREAM Act or anything else. With Republicans in charge in the House and with a bigger number in the senate, I wouldn't be surprised if they reverse everything and try to impeach President Obama. Show your support and call your senator and congressman.

Keep the DREAM Alive!!!

When exactly are the new Republicans going to get power?

How long do we have until that?

if they try to impeach obama just because they have majority, we might as well all pack our bags and gtfo of here, bc if that shit happens it'll be a sign that this country is really going to shit.

But your right, once the Repubs take over the house we will have no chance.

They're only going get the House, we still have the Senate.

West Virginia went with the Dems so unless Boxer loses CA to Fiorina (really doubt it, but anything can happen), it's impossible for them to control Congress.

But them having the House and several seats in the Senate, we have 0.00001% of DA passing.

call me an optimist but I do not think that the chances of the DA passing are that low. And we gotta give some props to the tea partiers, I think that without their help in scaring the hispanic population and many other groups then chances might have been greater that the senate would appear more red, hopefully the hispanic vote turns out to be very significant in this race to discourage bills that are considered anti-hispanic (whether they actually target only hispanics or not). People were ready to vote whoever was in power out of office, but the fear that the tea party instilled on so many people ensured the very high voter turnout and that most elections where not very heavily sided on one opponent or the other.

We have until January for the newly elected officials to take charge of their posts, chances are that the lame duck session will begin on the 15th of november and run for several weeks until the other candidates take their positions.

The democrats used to be the super majority in both houses and the white house, now they only have a slight majority in the senate, and they have the white house with the republicans having a super majority in the house of reps. I hope that this causes them to change their tactics to working more on a bilateral level with the democrats otherwise risk losing their positions because their policies as I see them could damage the recovery we are seeing right now.

What surprised me the most though was a speech by a republican representative on t.v., he was talking about giving more money to small business owners and I was feeling this sense of de-ja-vu, I thought that the democrats wrote that plan and that the republicans filibustered that for the longest time until one republican finally switched sides allowing for its passage. The representative was essentially putting the blame on the democrats for not passing that earlier when they were the super majority.

They need a reason to impeach him.

HAHAH ok, the chances of impeaching obama are as close as amending the constitution.
