This website is obviously the hub for the DA movement. The only thing I think its lacking is a little organization from the Mods and Admins. I know that they are doing their best to keep up during this hectic time, but can we get a global post for the most important senators to contact? I've seen several lists but they're not accurately updated. Like they will say that a senator is on the fence when he/she has released a public statement saying that they're against it.

Although we have a lot of people on our side making phone calls, sending faxes/e-mails, our resources are limited. So we need to make the best use of them. There is no point of bombarding a senator that has already voted for the DA in the past and has stated they will vote for it again. The same is true with with senators that are firmly against it.

Nothing fancy. I would like to see in one place the last 6 senators we really need to work on and share with the Facebook page that gained about 6000 new members since the announcement.. We made a strong push this week, and are still going strong this weekend. With a little leadership and clarification, we can make the strongest push Monday and Tuesday..

Agreed on all points. We're planning a newsletter with that information for tomorrow actually. Juan was working on a common list that we can use. He looked at what other organizations have circulated and at our own list. I'll ask him to post his finding here so you can offer your input before the newsletter goes out tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the feedback!

Guys, I consulted our research and compared list sent by two organizations. I deduced that the calls we should really focus on are:

Sen. Collins (R-Maine)*
Sen. Brown (R-Massachusetts)*
Sen. LeMieux (R-Florida)*
Sen. Snowe (R-Maine)*
Sen. Voinovich (R-Ohio)*

Sen. Tester (D-Montana)*
Sen. Bennett (R-Utah)*
Sen. Baucus (D-Montana)*

Dial: 1-888-254-5087. If busy or not working call switchboard directly at 202-224-3121.

If you have suggestions or additions to the list, let me know. State why the senator should be added to the list.

The only thing I have to suggest is to add the zip code to use when calling, the senators' e-mail addresses and fax numbers as well. I know they are in another section of this forum, but it needs to be brought together. I believe this is important because not everyone maybe as much as a political activist as you all, nor have the time/patience to shift through information. But we all have the same goal in mind, therefore we need to make the info easily accessible to our broad audience as possible.

Next the list needs to be spread. I suggested earlier a global announcment and a link exchange with this facebook group that seems to be very active: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...Act2010?ref=ts

It will serve as a great platform to get the info out.
