How to get an international license?

hey guys anyone here know, or has gotten an international drivers license? i read up on it but from what i understand you have to already have a valid drivers license from wehre you reside. thanks,

Yea that too. But I think u really have to get an original driver's license from your country first.

Yes, you first have to have an original DL from your country. Then with that, you go the organization which officially issues IDLs, usually, the national motoring club and they issue it for you. I have an original DL from my country and my family got the IDL for me.

getting licenses from mexico is pretty easy if you have family members in mexico that know people in their town's local gov't.
