I have been driving without a license in southern california for several years now. I got pulled over last year because my turn signal light wasn't working, but the judge had reduced that misdemeanor to an infraction. I recently got pulled over again because my rear license plate light wasn't working, and i have to appear in court again for driving without a license. Is there anything that i should be worried about? I'm assuming that they're just gonna fine me again like the first time.

Why did you wait so long to take care of the citation? Did you pay the fines?

sorry i didn't mention it but my truck did get towed for 30 days

I was just wondering what the penalties were for going to court a second time for driving without a license. I hear they're harsher on you if its a second offense. I think the possible penalties are paying a fine, community service, and/or possibly some jail time

yeah they are just going to fine u, it may be more than the first time depending on the judge.
the same thing happen to my sister but all she did was community service. if i were u i would go to washington state and get your license there , i got mine and it was pretty easy, i feel much better now since i dont have to worry about checkpoint or getting pulled over

Follow the instructions in the citation and pick the best options for you.

Read the other thread about Washington license. You much rather have an out of state license then no license. This solves a lot of problem.
