Would a VISA be bad?

Would a VISA instead really be a bad thing? Can't you get someone to sponor you with a VISA? Can you get a worker permit with a student VISA?

Does anyone know what the difference would be?

I think that a visa needs to be renewed back in your home country.

if you have a student visa, you can't work, you can't apply for student loan and you can't travel abroad freely, and you still could be sent back to your home country, which a lot of DREAMers don't know of

Also would not apply to those who have already finished school...
