I would just like to add in that my family talks about "The Secret" all the time... and it actually has worked. For example my father uses our only car to work daily, leaving me to ask for a ride to my job and my mother and sister car-less at home. My mother applied the secret (which is in reality a very demanding type of wishful thinking) and next thing we know an old friend of the family would like to thank our family for great support in their time of need by giving us a used car

I've read the book as well, and I can't deny that it is a wonderful piece of literature. Just, don't believe everything you read
