Yes misdemeanors on the past version were fine , but the new version does not allow them. Sorry really am.

I'm not making up rumours the fact she stealed went into her criminal record. The NEW VERSION does not allow misdemeanors and other small crimes . Before if you commited a small crime it wouldnt matter but with the new bill yesterday things changed.

Wow that sucks well she didn't really want to study or join the army so her only option now it to marry. Thanks for the answer.

can you link to the source that says the new version would not allow any misdemeanors? that doesn't seem to be a very reasonable restriction.

* Excludes from eligibility those with certain criminal convictions, such as for offenses punishable by a maximum term of more than 1 year (felony) or 3 misdemeanors

It looks like you need 3 misdemeanors not to qualify witch means she still qualifies for the Dream Act.
