Maybe this has been asked before. But are there any DREAMers that have left and successfully/unsuccessfully started new lives in other countries???

I guess we should take them not visiting often as a good sign.

I agree. I just don't see what the point is to be here when there is an entire world with endless possibilities. We have created possibilities when we were told we couldn't make it. I don't see we can just find another country and leave and see what we can do with the true opportunities. I just don't think the dream act will pass...not with everything the way it is. America is just not ready.

Ready or not, my plane leaves tomorrow. It's nice to finally stop worrying about the DA passing because of what it could mean. There's Aguilan, i dont think i spelled it right but, its something like that. Well he/she has left, and POP i think is the one with the blog who left a couple weeks ago. Maybe you could keep in touch with them to see what happens.

Yes where are you going? And who has the blog?

Really I don't think this lame duck is going to change anything. I've been here since I was 4 years old. I haven't seen anything change. My problem is this, my family is here and the person I'm in love with is here and their career is here. I'm trying to get my masters too. Otherwise I'd get out too. But I don't worry anymore about the Dream, it's pointless. I've cried my tears, my hopes have been crushed enough. I've been through all kinds of moods high and lows. We know the politics behind all this, America just doesn't want it.

If it passes then good, those here will benefit, but I'm done with this, time to try something new. I'm moving back to Trinidad. "Pop" i think was the dap username of the guy that left. His blog only has 1 update but it's:

http://hermesdesailes.blogspot.com/

@ blue, its good that your going on about your life. This situation with the DA messes with people so much.

@ JNJ thanks
