For all of us it's a great Victory that we have Sen. Lisa Murkowski -R from Alaska..

This Makes a great victory guys..... ...

Quote:
Currently, only three Republicans — Lugar, Sen. Linda Murkowski of Alaska, and Sen. Bob Bennett of Utah — are expected to offer support. The measure likely needs at least seven Republicans because a number of Democrats are expected to vote against it.

Sen. Bob Bennett
Sen. Richard Lugar
Sen. Lisa Murkowski

Sen. Susan Collins R - Maine
Sen. Olympia Snowe R - Maine This are almost 96% to vote for DA.

Need pressure

Sen. Pryor - D
Sen. Tester- D
Sen. Hatch - R
Sen. Brownback -R

No other news outlet is supporting that statement. It could be rogue as she hasnt made a public stance on yet. Dont relieve pressure on her just yet.

This is a response I got from her office :

Dear ****:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act of 2009, S. 729. I appreciate knowing your thoughts on this issue and the opportunity to respond.

If enacted, this legislation would allow aliens who illegally entered the United States prior to the age of 16, and were under the age of 35 at the time of the bill's enactment, to become lawful permanent residents by either attending two years of college in pursuit of a bachelor's degree (or obtain a degree from an institution of higher education) or serve two years in our uniformed services.

While I believe that immigration reform is necessary, particularly for those individuals who serve in our Armed Forces and put their lives on the line for our security, Congress must first make meaningful progress in securing our borders. Only when we have shown that we will hold up our end of the bargain in providing for a secure border will the American people trust us to enact reforms to other areas of our immigration laws.
Senator Richard Durbin introduced the DREAM Act on March 26, 2009. This legislation has been referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee. If the DREAM Act or similar legislation comes before the Senate, I will keep your thoughts in mind. Again, thank you for contacting me.

United States Senator

When was this? she says age 35!.

We don't know what's going on behind close doors with Durbin makes phone calls as well as the President.

Statements always are full of bullshit, they say one thing and the other change their mind.

So I really do believe that she would supported and would see news from her in the coming 3 days.

That email was sent to me on December 2nd. As I said, unless a politician decides to make a public statement as to where they stand, dont take them for granted.

Keep the pressure on her. She owes nothing to the republican party

It could very well be an automated response. I dont think she personally reads each and everyone.
