I know this a turbulent yet exciting time for the dream act but I have a question regarding california AB540.

Do we have to renew AB540 each semester? What if we switch colleges?

I am currently going to a cc here in socal but am relocating with my uncle in san francisco. I can't go there in person until january so can I just have my current school fax the documentation? I just need to know because I don't want to register for classes and pay out of state while I am currently paying in state at my local cc.

If you're switching colleges, then you would have to submit another form to your new college. I didn't have to renew each term. I don't know how other schools do it.

I didn't have to submit the form (I even did it online) for my university all four years, only the first quarter. I'm going to a CSU here if socal. I'm graduation this Saturday!!! If Dream Act passes, it will be the ultimate present for life.

Lets keep on calling!
