I'm new to this forum and I have been following the dream act for about 3 years. So yes i am new to all of this compared to those who have been fighting for 10 years. I think it is horrible that the bill that is on the table is leaving out a percentage of the dreamers. Yet I believe that during this times when it is maybe the last chance for awhile, there shouldn't be any negativity. For starters yes it is possible to be over 30 and not married. This is a new world and people are not getting married at 23 anymore. Yet i do want to say this and its to DA User, I understand how you feel but I have younger siblings that are in the same boat. I honestly would rather see them get the chance if this passes than everyone be aged out. I feel like things happen for a reason and our God is a good one. I don't know if we will get our chance this time around but it will happen. But please try to stay positive, whatever happens tomorrow remember that.

Chill guys, we should be focus on whatever we can pass 1st. It is useless right now to talk about a bill that doesnt even pass the senate yet.

hey I'm really not trying to bust any bubbles and I'm sorry if i offended you. I personally don't want anyone left behind. Yet I honestly can't say that I would rather that being over 30 change that for those who are not over 30. I get sometimes it's all about ourselves. yet i feel like this fight that we are fighting is bigger than just one person. And if my siblings were over 30 then it means that they would have to figure out something. Yet it's not fair that the US gave us a chance to go to public schools and afterward said get out. It's not fair that we got stuck here, It's not fair that most of us don't have homes to go back to, It's not fair they changed the bill this close to the end, It's not fair that it might not pass as it is & it's also not fair that it might pass as it is. Yet all I'm saying is let's just pray for the best, and not just for how ourselves but how a collective group of dreamers can get out of this hell that we are stuck in. I promise you all dreamers want it so that those up to 35 can get it. All am i saying is you were the positive one, and partially I remembered that about u when reading this forum. Just don't give hope and let's see what God has in plan for all of us.

You are completely right. I hopefully I'm not coming out as hostile.

Do we have the votes as of tonight? What makes you think we will have them tomorrow morning? Did we get a single support after the 5th revision? Please enlighten me if there's something you know that I don't.
Well nobody knows anything until the vote is cast, can you reason for a senator, i.e. come to a conclusion on how they would vote, I won't continue engaging this exchange because it is not worth the time nor the energy

No, I am not offended but you aren't in those people's shoes.

So it seems like House is voting on its original version is good news for 30-34 ages.

I wasn't talking about getting married for illegal reasons. I'm talking about legitimate marriages. If you entered without inspection and marry a citizen you can not adjust your status in the U.S. - that is just a fact. Up until a few years ago you could. Now you can't.
