U forgot John McCain!

Enjoy...

Dream Act Passes House, Goes on to Face the Evil Old Man of the Senate

Last night, Nancy Pelosi presided over one of the last useful things that the House of Representatives will do for two-to-twelve years when it passed The Dream Act — a bill which would give the children illegal immigrants a means of gaining full citizenship provided the earn a college degree or join the military — with 216 votes, even managing to scoop up a whole eight Republican yays, despite the fact that it would do little to help the plight of rich white CEOs.

Now, that shit may play in the House, but the bill is gonna face a tougher time on the Senate floor, where Old Man McCain spends his days a'fumin' and a'rattlin' his old bones at anybody who asks him to do anything to display any moral character.

This comes as no surprise to anybody who's been following McCain's recent unwavering effort to tear down his own reputation level-headed bipartisan, built up over years, as quickly as possible. But a time traveler making a (not particularly impressive or imaginative) trip across three years, from 2007 to 2010, would be simply astonished…

When Gaby Pacheco met with Sen. John McCain in 2007 to plead for help stopping the deportation of her family, she says she found a man who was sympathetic both personally and politically… McCain gave her a hug and promised to continue pushing for immigration reform in the face of stiff conservative opposition.

"He said 'Don't worry, everything is going to be OK. I'm going to fight for this.' " she recalled.

Aw, such a sweet old man. I wonder whatever becomes of him…

A few days before the Senate left for the Thanksgiving break [in 2010], Pacheco met the new McCain when she tried to lobby him on the DREAM Act, the bill he'd once championed. When Pacheco approached McCain, she said, he dismissed her and threatened to call the Capitol Police on her if she continued to follow him.

As he entered an elevator, the DREAM Act supporters told the senator that all they want is to serve their country. "Go serve them then," McCain told them, according to Pacheco.

Seriously, what the fuck happened to this guy. Did he, like, maybe die a some point during the '08 Republican primaries and then end up having his carcass re-animated by Dr. Herbert West?* Because this is how people behave after they've had their soul carved out from their chest.

No, i think I hate FOX news the most because they are the idiots who give the spotlight to the other idiots. If FOX wasn't as biased and racist, and they truly practiced journalism, Glenn Beck, Jeff Sessions and other idiots wouldn't have such power.
