My newly American citizen brother is having a laugh at this thread. Of course he supports the dream act. This is his two cents opinion and humor....PEACE!

Hey Dudes...Hope all is well...Well the way things are going maybe not so...Anyway, shouldn't you be debating what exactly DA stands for???Dump Ass vs. Dont Ask...you know the rest???
Anyway, please go easy on the guy and lighten up his Depressed Ass day .....Just messing around...Sorry DA....
Anyway, although I am "legal"...(Which by the way is a misnomer...How can you be illegal anyway...you exist dont you??)...I still have to worry about my "Legal Pretend" Sister, so I know what it is like...May the "Higher Powers" be with you...

I don't get it either, quite a few members are rooting for whatever is of interest and benefit to themselves and themselves alone. They are very content with anything that might even sacrifice the best interest of their immediate families ----))) specifically no option to sponsor their own parents if it means getting a green card yet they have the nerve to judge this poster because he is wishing for something that might benefit himself as well. The logic blows your mind. Everyone here is looking for sympathy from America yet you show none to the other fellow dreamers who are right here in the struggle with you. Those rooting for the dream act in the current state that it is in is free to do so, without being judge and vilified, so the guy should also be able to respectfully voice his opinions. IMHO.

This thread is a time-waster. I'm definitely no fan of DA User's unfounded optimism or his/her recent not-so-subtle subversive attitude toward the current DREAM version. However, he/she has a right to be here. For what it's worth, I'm voting no.

Now let's get back to work.

That would be cool and all, but DA User never adds anything to the conversation. He keeps repeating his same tired opinion multiple time in ever topic he posts in.

True, but just leave him be. You'd be losing your mind too if suddenly you found out you don't qualify for the DA.

Really I don't know why any of you are attacking him? What are you going to when DA doesn't pass and believe me it will not pass. I wish it would for the rest of you I am aged out , but I have other options so it isn't a big deal, but some of you are total assholes. I have seen people saying "fuck those over 30, this is their problem they should of done something" It's easy to judge something when you have no idea what you are talking about. So I ask what are you going to do when the Republicans tell say "Fuck you dream act, go back to your own countries regardless of age, colour, creed!"

They don't want anchor babies here anymore, we are all a step lower than anchor babies.

Regarding Canada, what city would you recommend for someone from the USA?
Decent salary and low cost of living. I have not heard of any city that is low cost in Canada.

Really anywhere outside of a major city, I really don't know what you mean by cost of living being bad there? It just depends there are apartments that are cheap 300-500 dollars a month and ones that are 1k-1400 month just depends.

In truth if you are looking for a cheaper place to get started it really depends on what you plan on doing for work. Stay away from BC it costs a lot to live or do anything there. Rent costs a lot in Alberta but judges pay more and there is no province tax. Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge(where I was born), Red Deer and Medicine Hat are really nice places to live and there is work in them. I will tell you this now though, Alberta is really really really cold.

Saskatoon and Regina are nice also, a lot of jobs there living isn't too bad. Crime is a bit bad in Regina it just depends where you are there. It's also really really really cold there. Winnipeg is nice, a lot of jobs, a lot of things to do. But really cold, freezing cold haha.

Really you might want to look around Southern Ontario, London, Hamilton, Guelph, Burlington, Mississauga, Waterloo-Kitchner. The thing that is great about Southern Ontario is that cost of living isn't bad, a lot of jobs because you have so many cities close to eachother or commute to Toronto. It's cold but not as cold as everywhere else.

Um Quebec don't bother unless you speak french.
