Correct me if I am wrong.
I don't think so, if not we will actually start seeing what the Republicans say....Massive border jumping!!!

Think about this, if the children under 12 qualify they have a 10 yr temp status...Im just not sure if it starts once they become 18 or 16 but either way will be very hard for them to obtain a dregree within that time.... 18 most likely tho since they need a HS diploma

*Don't forget that a GED or HS diploma is a requirement.

*Ok so you have to be in the US 5 years prior to the bill (if it passes) those 12 year old kids had to be here when they were 6? or 7? Hmmm

DA USER do you have any good argument that Bringing back the Retro will raise the possibility of dream act passage? Other than that it will help those who are over 30yo (including u), it doesn't seem to help us to pass dream act.

That's a good question. But, I believe that when there time comes then they'll be able to apply since basically they meet all the requirements, really.

Yep, definitely! That's why I've been sending e-mails to as many people to encourage them to support the Dream Act. Like someone said, "We need to pressure anyone with a voice in this as much as possible."

Yes. Why waste folks who are more educated then someone who just has a HS diploma?

Thousands of educated people will be left out because of this. They can take out other provisions. Ban on sponsorship. Ban in-state tuition. Ban any gov't loans.

Hopefully compromise does not involve lowering the age of entry, otherwise I'm screwed.
