Seriously you are one of those retards who types without thinking first. Those people are US CITIZENS! In people's mind they should come first over illegal immigration. We came here at a young age brought by our parents choice, while they are gay the moment of conception! You are not the only human being living in the US dumbass

When you go into the army or even stuff like JROTC, you don't really disclose your orientation because people automatically assume you can't do what the heterosexual guy next to you can do.
By the way I'm gay too, but that doesn't mean I can disqualify any gay person's rights to anything. Sexuality is not a limitation unless you choose it to be. Those people are serving the military and can be discharged the moment they are remotely found to have any gay tendencies. Just so you know they are protecting your homosexual illegal ass.

Simple really.
I like this suggestion, but under this scenario I wonder how long it will take before some heterosexual serviceman blurts out, “Dude, I could seriously go for some vadge right now.” I also wonder if he'll actually be punished and ostracized for revealing his sexual orientation. Most likely not.

It's a matter of having the choice to disclose your sexual orientation, an integral part of your personality, without being shamed and punished for it. DADT is discrimination, and moreover it's discrimination that's being acted against American citizens who are performing an essential service for their country. That's why it comes first before DREAM.

You also have to remember this sad fact- while DREAMers are NOT worth any less than anyone else in this world, DREAMers are pretty damn low on the hierarchy of issues that the US would like to correct.

Then Dont tell that is the rule nobody ask nobody tells. Only ones that get thrown out are the ones that make it clearly known they are gay get the boot. I have served two tours 30 months we train people to kill and those guys have said they do not want to serve with gay people so what will happen is the gays will get killed. The French and other countries make gays serve together in there own units and it works fine that might be the answer there but you don't force anything on marines that are in a war zone.

And yet, the army just did a survey and an overwhelming number of soldiers say that they are fine with gays joining the army. Who should we believe? Some random kid on the internet or the US Military? Hmmm..

You know when your serving that there are gay people in amongst you but that is far as it goes you dont say anything to anyone about the subject and it is not allowed to be discussed. I think DADT works it did when I served.

The survey was SPECIFICALLY about how they would feel if gays were allowed to serve openly after DADT was repealed. The soldiers are fine with it.

70%....that still leaves 3 out of 10 guys of your platoon who have a problem....Kind of significant in my opinion

You missed the big debate in the senate when the chiefs were brought up to go through there findings. They did not ask the question in a straight fashion do you want to serve with gay members. They did not get a large enough response to get a true sample of a poll, and they left out the men in the war zones who leaders are the ones telling the congress that they are not wanting to put gays together with there fighting troops. So what would happen is everyone wants to think they no what there talking about but have not served and don't know they type of people you serve with. The marine corp is full of flat out killers , gang members, ex cons and it will be all fun and games until they start bringing back gay people in body bags because these guys dont want to be around them. Dont ask dont tell works fine. I dont go to my professional job now and discuss my sexual orientation because it would offend and its against the law so why should it be different in the service?
