LOL If any changes were to be made it will be to lower the age even more to prevent less dreamers. Sorry but this is not going to happen. If thEy change the age to 18 then the older dreamers will want for the age to be raised again to 35 as it will not be fair to them so THIS IDEA IS A LONG SHOT

I am really saddened with the replies I have gotten on this subject. Appalled even, I've had profanity thrown at me and all sorts of negativity. It is no wonder minorities find it hard to get ahead when there is a lack of unity and support. We have a "Imma gets mines" attitude and that's a shame. For your information, I believe in the God of heaven and earth. "What is (or seems) impossible with man, is possible with God", Luke 18:27. I came into this country at 16, finished high school and college with honors by the grace and provision of God. He will never leave me nor forsake me and I know He already has a way for me out of this situation. I came to this website for support but all I have gotten is discouragement so, no thank you. You can keep your comments. I wish you blessings. In His Love.

While the comments may sound very harsh, most of them are about the reality. You cannot expect any "encouragement". You need to understand the legislative process. There is nothing that even Senator Reid can do about it at this point unless he wants to waste more time, and we are clearly running out of time.

Also, as someone mentioned earlier in this thread, the upper age limit at entry has been 16 since the first DREAM Act was introduced years ago. Only the upper limit of beneficiaries has been changed to reduce the number of beneficiaries and gain support from relunctant lawmakers.

Unforunately and very sadly, as you mentioned in your comment, you might wish to pray to God.

Don't take them to heart, a lot of people on this site can barely type in English. Their vocabulary is severely lacking.

Some of the replies are appalling imo. It's ironic when DREAMERS act as selfish as the rughtwing nutbags we've been fighting against.

I feel sorry for all the people over 30+, but there is nothing we can't do about it now. Changing anything will mean another vote on the house and it will take more time.

I imagine how you guys feel, but right we gotta concentrate and what has been already done. If the dream act passes then us the dreamers can help by fighting for an immigration reform.

Those comments are not negative, but rather it shows reality (and some humor )

I wish something could be done for your situation, but unfortunately there is nothing we, the dreamers, can do.

You should pray to god, maybe he knows the answer...
