To be honest yes on the age cap that would be 30.
BUT, we really don't know the RETROACTIVE Thing, I be honest I don't understand it very much .

The Senate has the say in almost everything , Like '''ObamaNightmareCare''

I honestly think it's all a ploy. Do you really think after all the provisions and lowering the maximum age to 30, can help the bill pass? I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but politics is politics.

I think it's really heartbreaking that over-30s arent going to be covered. They've been here a lot longer than us and have therefore had to live the best years of their lives as personas-non-gratas. My sister is over 30 but thankfully she married a USC so she wont have to worry about this. But it really sucks, especially if there wont be any retroactivity clause.

I am very disappointed. I arrived to the United States in 1990. I was 12 years old.
I graduated from Junior High, High School, I earn a bachelors in Spanish with a Minor in Computer Science
and I just finish my classes for my Masters in Spanish Literature. I'm 34 years old and I've been waiting
for the DREAM Act to be approved all this time and now its all over. They decided to
change the age which makes non sense to me. That was a very sad day for me
and perhaps to lots of students in my age range and situation.

I'm not 30 but let's say after it passes they could take whatever out of it before the president signs it not so???what I'm trynna say is after is passes can't they just take out the age cap without revoting it? Dream act gonna pass I believe so America need this, and if they don't think that then their obviously insane, and they do nneed a broader immigration reform also, their are to many undocumented here.

No, this is going to be the final version of the bill. Any change to it requires it to be voted on all over again.

I think if you have school records that show you were here before the 14-16 age cap, you should have a shot at the DREAM.

When Reid and Durbin introduced the bill, they shouldn't have changed the age limit. I don't think it was as much of a vote getter as prohibiting us from sponsoring family members when we get our PR. It really is a damn shame. Too many people are getting sidelined for almost no trade-off benefit.
