Hey guys. Recently discovered this site and it seems like it's got some great support.

So quick question and not to get ahead or anything, but if this thing passes, do any of you know if there will be any grace periods when it comes to age limits and such? If this thing passes, I'll be over the age limit by a day or two. Talk about timing is everything lol. Thanks and any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Get an attorney, also please dont come here and call it "this thing", It's a bill and many of us are doing a lot of stuff to get it passed.

because some Reps. werent voting so that lowers the majority of votes you need to pass something. I love the House

I was wondering the same thing, almost died when they stopped at 216 and where going to announce what happened.

I am guessing that they only count the votes that were submitted, not everyone vote and the majority of those that voted, did so in the affirmative to pass the DA.

It needed a simple minority because it was being passed onto the senate for a vote, meaning that it needed 50+% of the votes; this means that if only 10 had voted, they would have needed only 6 votes, regardless of there being 435 reps in the house

Well, I wasn't planning to offend anyone. So if my simple question offended anyone, I do apologize. But with all due respect, that doesn't mean that I gotta take any shit from a douchebag (i.e. Alex1234) using a fake profile pic of a blond fat ass, who clearly thinks he's the only one invested in the Dream Act.

I probably have invested more in this thing and have more to lose than you do. So, fuck you asshole. And to the moderators, I'm sorry for my language. But this fat fuck deserves to be called out for having such an f'ed up attitude towards someone just looking for advice.

Now, if this thing doesn't pass, at the least I'll be satisfied in knowing that you went down the ship with the rest us. Asshole!
