The losing side of a vote always argues against the process. They always say something about 1) the time the vote is going to take place, 2) how they didn't get enough amendments, 3) how there weren't enough hearings.


It's pretty weak arguing, made up to sound like it's something significant.

I wish senator Lugar remind his repblican friends that this debet is live on all national televison and 95% of possible latinos voter and many other minority legal immigrants goups will be watching closly, so lets atlest not compare this bright students with terrorist and drug dealers. I relly wish someone from republicans side warn theor friends.

damn they never give us and their chance to take up the bill. of coz they don't have any chances to get enough amendment . another point is they always keep saying we have to scure our border first before immigration reform.
