The legislative process has failed us, all those calls and faxes didnt help. What now?

Thing of this idea, what if a bunch of us just turned ourselfs in en-mass. What if 100... 1,000... or 10,000 of just showed up to an ICE building and turned ourselfs in and force them to deal with us. They plan on just acting like we dont exist, lets make them deal with our situation, lets make it impossible for them to keep ignoring us.

awww sweety pie.

#1: as long as they are getting paid, they will drag you out so they can meet their quota.

#2: find the nearest bridge, preferably with incoming traffic below; and just jump.

uh did you guys read what i wrote? i didnt say go turn yourself in. A lot of us are already thinking of leaving the country regardless we dont have anything to lose. if a lot of us went at it together the least thing we could accomplish is to bring attention to our situation.

but anyway, i see why this sounds like a silly idea to some of you i'm sure that calling a senator's secretary's secretary will someday make congress pass the dream act.

Actually that would work. Everyone who wants to leave leaving, on TV. Make it a real tear jerker and make'em look evil.

What we need is Lady Gaga supporting us. :P Make her wear a cheese outfit with the words "DREAM Act NOW" imprinted on them. I'm sure we'll get some attention then.

This action is out of the question for many people. Where would I go & what would I do if I left the country?

i doubt that ICE has the resources to deport a big number of students all at the same times. if it there were a lot of us and i mean a lot the system they have in place would crumble.
