It would be cool if we unite and buy some large island or reform and help out the third country but we rule... In the latter case, it would be mutual relationship.

We have engineers, scientists, economists, lawyers, doctors, good handymen etc. We have diverse background and we would not fail. And have our own immigration system, not like bad one like here in the US and build a better nation; then accept all victims of DA and get constant immigration based on work ethics. Imagine 2 million people all working together in harmony. And after decades, hopefully prove what we were capable of and make America feel regret.

Just like English settlers here in America. People from England probably laughed at Americans back then, but look who has stronger nation?

Problem is that we can't be that united and team spirited and no country would really want such deal (or we may hate to go there.). Just a simple thought...not meant serious...

Think about it, we grew up here and were educated here we're practically American, at least our thinking is. If we used all that knowledge in a developing country, it would really pick up and improve over time.

I find it interesting that some of the members of the Senate haven't thought of that, if we really migrated out of here in large numbers to other developing countries, those countries could practically be built up within a couple of decades and could actually become up to par with the US. They actually NEED us here more than they think, we have the knowledge and skills to keep the country great, but hey whatever, we all got a resounding "NO, you're not wanted here" so silly me.

True, but with time I think we'd be able to work together especially when they see that we have a lot to offer. If I were those Senators that voted no, I'd have reconsidered that vote, they don't understand that people could really start leaving the US for good then who will help them over here? the lazy folks that'd rather live off the system? Yeah, good luck with that seriously. At a certain point when you've been kicked down so much after begging and pleading, you get to a point where you just decide to try your luck elsewhere. I bet we'd be appreciated in other countries that'd be glad to have us since the US doesn't need us here.
