Dreamers, we have lost and won several battles and yesterday we have lost another battle, but the war is far from over.

I URGE YOU ALL to not forget those 5 democrats , who could have gotten us those 60 votes.
AND especially those republicans that betrayed us , the ones that live in states with high HISPANIC/LATINO population, they will hear of us again in the 2012 elections.

Menendez said yesterday "This is a vote that will not soon be forgotten by a community that is growing not just in size, but also in power and political awareness.”

And He is right, the Republicans will suffer because of their filibuster. They will regret seperating immigrant communities, they will regret destroying hope on Dec 18th.

Dreamers the fight is not over, as our dreams live on. FOR NOW THE DREAM ACT IS DEAD, but we're all here the connections we have built will never be broken but will get stronger, the support we have made with many will get stronger, and the fight itself will get stronger. America will listen to us, yes we're in a recession , yes the climate in D.C is tougher, BUT we have waited for too long , and this defeat was our last straw.

Remember December 18th,2010 and use it as your fire, and remember it especially in 2012.

the war IS OVER!!! your asking us not to forget about those senators; sit down!.. we are in the minority..

for half of us the fight is over. We all saw not the 5 senators yesterday, but the whole political system in this country.

learn and move on; or go through another roller-coaster year after year.

all those people who say MARCH 2011 RALLY IN D.C!!! yayyyyyy: the only thing you'll accomplish is make some money for the buses that will send you there

Oh, get the fuck out of here. Another stupid topic about these 5 Dems that voted against it this time around, in this horrible economic and political climate. No one is going to remember them next time DA is introduced.

Do names Boxer, Conrad, Dodd, Dorgan, Landrieu, McCaskill, Murkowski, and Specter mean anything to you? These are the fuckers that voted against the cloture for the good version in 2007 and we even had 11/12 Reps back then.

No one remembers, certainly not the American public. Open your eyes, this is it.

NAH dude we live in a democratic country , if we march and fight they'll listen the key is not to give up but to keep going ahead. So what if we lost? its not the first time, thats how life is , youll go down but you'll go up again soon, deal with it. If you give up whenever anything bad happens, then you'll never make it through life.
