Excellent speech! LOL
His speech will be eloquent, but your version pretty much sums up what he really means.

Mitch Stewart, Director of Obama's political arm Organizing for America, sent a letter to supporters...

"We need to send a clear message to the Republicans that none of us are going away—that we will continue to fight," Stewart wrote

"This fight isn't over—and when it comes up in the next Congress, we need to be on the record saying that Republicans can't hold reform hostage to political games."

1) Fuck you Mitch Stewart for having the audacity (no pun intended) of going on record with your bullshit. Organizing for America is a POLITICAL organization meant to re-elect Barack Obama and your statements are only serving your interest in your own employment.

2) Are you sure that none of us are going away? Is Barack Obama cancelling deportations? Huh?

3) We were educated and know that "saying" things on the record means shit; because - in case is news to you- saying does not equal doing. And this administration is on the record as doing SHIT.

Somehow, magically, Obama was able to negotiate passage of reckless, debt-inducing tax cuts with complete abandon of all principle; passed DADT; food-safety legislation; health insurance reform that may not materialize; and very soon an arms treaty of significant international policy - and yet, the Dream Act is sooooooooo controversial, that Obama cannot negotiate its passage? Give me a break. My family only voted Democratic for our state, but will not vote for Obama's re-election. In our view, those that do for our community deserver our vote. And none of them will move a finger to help your campaign, I tell you. On the record.

I agree!!! I'm so tired of coming here and reading posts of people doing nothing but bitching. You should be grateful you're still living here and haven't been deported. The president DOESN'T have to support the Dream Act but he had the balls to. You obviously don't realize how much shit he has to take from all those anti-illegal immigration Americans just because he supports the Dream Act!!! And now coming from you guys really? Freaking unbelievable!!!

Stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Calling, faxing and emailing Senators are not enough! The Dream Act could have been passed long ago but it wasn't. Obama did not do enough! He promised this as a downpayment for CIR. He failed. From now until we get this passed it is our reponsibility to let him know that we will not go anywhere!

We've ignited a fire and, damn it, we cannot let it die out!

I agree with both of you.

People should realize immigration is NOT Obama first priority and there are other priorities that comes before immigration. We should be happy that he at least supports and talks about the DA and even makes time for meetings.

Lets use common sense here; Obama wants to be reelected for 2nd term, so by passing some sort of immigration reform, like the DA, Obama would lose a lot of voters which means no 2nd term for Obama. Yes, latino voters might keep him in the office for passing an immigration reform, but not all latino voters are for the DA. I predicted this would happen, so all we can do is fight for the DA - let all senators and representatives know, that we are ready for WAR!! YeS We CAn!!
