So, I pretty much grew up here in Florida and the dream act not passing has crushed into pieces. I am trying to explore new options. What if me or anyone of us dreamers were to marry a green card holder? I do know that with a US citizen its quite easy, but what if they just go their green card and had a 5 year wait to become a citizen? Btw--I enterred legally but over stayed. . Any response will be highly appreciated.

Unless you qualify under 245i, overstays are not forgiven when you marry a LPR. The person would have to become a USC before being able to petition you. Unlawful presence is forgiven only for immediate relatives of USCs (children under 18, spouse, parents).
