It stresses me out everyday to have to think about this but when all is said and done it's better than living here in the shadows.
That's what growing up is all about: taking chances. Especially when you are an Aussie citizen - there are many options and opportunities open for you. Finishing your BA is a great option, do that and then you should transfer to an Australian Uni.

No family? are your parents legal residents? they can come visit anytime. No friends? are you serious? you can make one within minutes - especially if you transfer to a Uni. No money? again, this shouldn't be an issue.

You also hold an EU passport? jeez, I'm sure many of us would kill to be in your shoes.

I myself want/wanted to go to Australia but being illegal here does not help at all. If I do manage to get my papers ready, I will eventually move there.

wait a min...i thought people wanted dream act to pass because they wanted to stay in the U.S which they consider home...where they have family and friends and spent most of their life and have memories... not because their unknown home countries were so shitty and ghetto

Well right now I am just concenered about getting my BA, and having a good time while I do that. I actually have been lucky to get in state tuition and work in the U.S. I guess in that aspect I am fortunate. I'll eventually have to make the gamebreaking decision when I'm finished with my BA. But that is what life's about, taking chances.
