tax question

hi! i've been a lurker for a few weeks now and I tried searching for an answer to my question with no luck. i've been sharing a ss with my cousin... shes a usc, she wanted to help me out cus it's difficult finding a cash job. so, has anyone filed for tax returns? is it possible? with an itin? whats the process?

Yes, it is possible.
The process basically is the same as if you had an ssn. On the IRS form instead of using her ssn, use the itin.

However, it is a bad idea to try and file taxes on your own if you are inexperienced on the issue. Who does your parents taxes? I would suggest you go that person, or find a local tax preparer like an H&R Block. They will know what to do.

ive never filed taxes. this is my 2nd job ever. so I should bring my tax returns sheets to a tax specialist and tell them I want to file with my itin instead of the ss listed on the sheet? sorry for so many questions. i've never done this before.
