If you want to work without papers, you can only work by doing dirty jobs.

When I mean dirty jobs, I'm talking about dirty jobs, like the show on TV.

The only thing that lifts my spirit up is that GOD is with me, and that at least I got some income to keep me fed and under a roof.

So I say this: Find a dirty job, work, go to school so that you can get a degree, and if the DA doesn't happens at least you got a degree in something and then you can go back to your country and have something that can give you some competitiveness back home.

Don't give up, don't let people bring you down, and make it happen. For if you don't do it for yourself, then who is gonna do it for you?

Nah, they have a cleaning company on a contract. The cleaning company can't find any legal people that likes to clean, so they tend to go for illegals. They do ask for IDs, but I am working for my mom since she is waiting for her residency and she has a drivers licence and bank account. Otherwise, I would still be unemployed.

^^^see thats the thing about finding 'jobs' if your undocumented. Everyone usually gets hooked up by a family member or a friend. I have a very small family. my parents cannot 'hook' me up with a job. my only other family member is my uncle but he is incarcerated. i have tried to go out on my own to find a job and it just bums me out. i have no car so i have to take public transportation all day and come home empty handed. it fucks with my self esteem especially cause ive even been laughed at while trying to get a job. it was the worst feeling. Another thing, i would prefer to find like some sort of little job/gig getting paid under the table cash. I wouldnt want working with fake papers and all that false SSN shit. i dont even know how that shit works. it sucks man why is it illegal to work here in the united states undocumented? if a person wants to pay me for doing a job, then whats the problem? i dont see anything illegal in exchanging value for value! anyways i digress i think your right about dirty jobs

Some Illegals I know need to realize that they're unemployed because they tend to look for "legal" jobs ( the easy ones ) . I have a dirty job way worst than you do but its in the medical field. The benefits, free shelter, food, utilities, nice boss, and a sponsorship. Good luck everybody remember illegal jobs are booming in the field of cleaning, some food, and senior services. Most of them don't even need an SSN as long as you can get fingerprinted and take the physical exam.

Getting a EIN Employee Identification number from IRS used to be the way to get contract jobs but I think they might have made that process a lot harder now.

Well, I got my IRS number, and a college ID, but the IRS number is only good if they don't ask to make copies of your S.S.N and ID. Otherwise you'll be alright.

You can also come up with creative ideas to make some money on the side. These would include: Per say, make kites for the spring and summer season, maybe cut some grass, or do some oil changes or wash some cars.

You can always work as an independent contractor if you have an idea of what you can do as a "business". You can get a business license with your ITIN and then fill out a contractor W-9 (with your ITIN again). I know someone who did it for many years (up until this year) with no issues.
