when i was younger my dad arranged a marriage in order for him to get a GC. that didnt work out like he had planned, the lady he tried this with took his money and left before he could finish the whole process. i was thinking due to this situation, there is some kind of MIRACLE that would allow me too file forms to get some type of legal status. even residency is fine as i can get a job and help with bills that are starting to get harder and harder to pay.

Since your dad arranged the marriage, if the USCIS finds out, he will be facing prison time and a serious fine with permanent ban from entering the U.S. again.

Unfortunately, there is no miracle paperwork that will resolve your situation because the petitioner left the process.

If I were you, I would start making plans in case the worst happens. Right now you just got to wait for 2012.

ITIN can only be used for filing tax returns, nothing else.
It is not a valid form of ID, it is issued regardless of immigration status.

You cannot join the military unless you are a citizen or an eligible non-citizen (green card holders).

You have to be more specific about residency, if you mean legal residency, you cannot get it unless you have a valid visa or an Adjustment of Status has been filed for you (I-485).

Just don't lose hope, you can always use the degree you get in the U.S. anywhere in the world.

Don't let this experience define your life.
