California’s new governor Jerry Brown supports the California version. “Yes to the California Dream Act,” Brown said during a debate with Whitman last year. “I would have signed that bill.” If passed, California would become the third state after New Mexico and Texas to allow undocumented immigrant students to access public student financial aid.

CA Dream Act introduced today. Crossing my fingers for every dreamers in CA

I don't know... Brown already made a $500 million cut for University of California. I don't know if he's willing to have us eligible for financial aid after that...
I wish CA will just allow driver's license like Washington, New Mexico..

You did see the post I put up yesterday concerning Brown putting the hammer down on the California school system including colleges he is taking nearly 3 billion out of the system in cuts to both public schools and colleges. You think those people raising hell about not being able to get classes last year were mad wait till this goes through.

I feel like I'm at home. Anyways, I can get a part time education with about $1000 per semester.

This would be an incredible step for California! I'm not going to lie though, if it does pass, I feel like I just got slapped in the face!! I paid my entire 4 year tuition out of my own pocket. Close to 15k!
