Virginia State Legislature To Consider Bill That Would Ban Undocumented Immigrants - Page 2

Why is it injustice when you have a High School education from the state you are in , but they cannot afford to provide non US citizens college aid and funds. I cannot go to Monterrey Tech in Mexico across the border and say let me have a cheaper graduate school or let me pay in state tuition at your college, or even better let me get a grand or scholarship to your college and take a Mexican citizens place. These are the cuts that are going to have to be made because the states are broke this recession on the states are going to get a lot worse before they get better with the unemployment rate that is suppose to stay above 9%. Everyone knows this except on this page for some reason its been in the news for over 3 years this is what it is going to come to it is like people think you can just keep on spending when there is nothing there and no more money to take in taxes because know one is working.

Well paying instate tuition at Monterrey Tech and going to school in a state where you already have a high school diploma andl lived most of your life are not the same thing. I disagree with you when you say that undocumented students are taking The spots away from American Citizens!!!!! The whole point of "Capitalism" is "competition" You act as if Undocumented students didn't work their asses of in high school in order to get that College spot.

Some antis say that Undocumented students provide unfair competition against U.S Citizens. Thats false it's not our fault that we work harder and might care more about our education than a Citizen. It's not as if Citizens are stupid they just don't work hard enough and value their education as much as we do.

From what i see in your post you seem to think that it's OK for states to discriminate and persecute undocumented students just because things that are out their control are going bad. Barring undocumented students from College wont have any positive financial impact. They should be trying to fix their budget instead of going after undocumented students.

There is no injustice in any country that bans illegals from another country going to college in there country. Again the US is the only one that has been doing this of all of the countries the US has no obligation legally to let illegals be educated in there country so your injustice point is flatly wrong. If you want it tested send your application into a school in France, China, Mexico and on and on then you will understand your point is flat out wrong. How about the truth of the matter even though you think you have a complaint about how you have been treated in the US you need to come to the understanding that the US has treated you far better than any place in the world. And none of this illegal immigration issue or birth rite citizenship or dream act happen in any other country in the world. Now the US cant pay for it any longer so the US has unfairly treated you wrong. Open your eyes to the world.

An illegal person in the country believes its an injustice that the country your illegally in doesn't give you a college education some where. Maybe you should understand reality before you comment on injustice. And before you think another country owes you a spot ahead of there countries citizen. This is why people on the other side of the debate eat your lunch every year coming off like you are owed. HMMM you are owed nothing by the US period. The injustice is thinking you are owed something by the US. US citizens are not owed anything but an opportunity and freedom but your here illegally and am owed a college education get real.

U.S. citizens already have freedom. So don't say that they don't, how are they being oppressed? Besides schools are paid mostly by the state, every time you buy something and you get charged that extra 9 or 10 cents your basically paying for school. Illegal immigration has done more for this country than anything else, i mean come on let's get real, their are taxes being collected from "illegals" from every paycheck. Money goes into the social security system, money that can never be collected. What do you think is keeping it afloat? It's not the thousands of people collecting more than what they have paid in social security benefits. Every paycheck anything between 15-30% of what you earn gets taken away in taxes. I mean its not like their asking for a handout, they are asking for the chance to go to school. How is that affecting anyone?
I have U.S. citizens friends who just go to school for the first month and then they just drop the classes, why do they do that? because they want the 2-5 thousand dollars from financial aid money and buy themselves a nice Ipod, nice clothes, etc.

Really the majority of Americans do you mean the 70% that want to deport and remove all illegals or the ones whose representatives vote down the Dream act for ten years. Or better yet do you mean the swing in power that are passing all the legislation in the states cracking down on Illegal immigrants.

So first of all by protecting them in a unit and having them protect me.
