You CAN join the military.

Ok, so there's been talk that joining the military is hard and all that. YOU CAN JOIN THE MILITARY. How do I know? My uncle, who is an OFFICER for the Marine Corps told me that undocumented CAN join the military. He did not go into detail about how I can join, but he told me, under his command, he has three Latinos who were illegal, they joined and now their situation is fixed. However, he also told me that he would not recommend me joining until I have a Bachelors to go in as an officer (because boot camp is harsh and all that). I still don't personally know if i want to join, so i'm just putting this out to the people who are willing to fight for the USA.

My advice to you: if you know a Hispanic high ranking official in the military, talk to him/her, and ask for advice, see if he can help you out by pulling some strings or something. Most of it is up to the recruiter. If the recruiter says yes, you're set!

Even if you get your bachelors you can't go in as an officer, only U.S. citizens can apply to officer candidate school. I still wouldn't risk the rest without a for sure thing.

i talked to a recruiter about this, he said he can get fired and lose all his pension doing something like that. that's not something anyone would be able to risk, unless you're desperate for new recruits.

I also talked to recruits and turned me down. Does anyone have a contact to a recruiter who's willing to sign me in? I'll enlist in no time.

Along but at some point you will be busted and you will be processed out of the service and you will bedeported with a lifetime ban for falsifying your status for an immigration benefit. There are no waivers for that.
