You're not the only one with suicidal thoughts... There are lots of dreamers who think the same way as you. Yeah I thought about committing suicide over this immigration thing once or twice (kinda almost did but chickened out after seeing how high the fall is) and concluded that "dying for America is stupid," no one cares, and that Dream won't pass no matter how many of us kill ourselves.

So the best thing to do is pick yourself back up, go hang out with your friends (they WILL lift up your mood), enjoy a few drinks, and get involved in other activities that will make you forget that you're illegal in the first place. It works for me because for a whole semester at school, I was really busy with school activities and didn't sulk around about immigration reform.

Perfectly sound advice and far kinder than my suicide by horse suggestion.

I'd also like to add that some universities- at least in Texas- also offer mental health services and counseling for free or for a reduced fee. You don't have to be a student at that university to avail of those services.

Listen man, I'm sure many people have thought of this. Best advice is to talk about it face to face with someone else. Its truly not worth it, and sadly people honestly do not care. Check this website out: http://www.thehopeline.com/CSDefault.aspx. And don't waste your time with the whitehouse, those A@@holes couldnt give two shits. Keep your head up in the mean time.

No offense, but trying to make people feel bad for you to get what you want, takes you nowhere.

I actually took it at face value, and agree regardless.

I think once you get to the point of being suicidal it would be so easy to actually leave the country. Meaning, you've hit rock bottom in this country, now's the perfect opportunity to leave and live somewhere else. What else have you got to lose?

Sorry if that's insensative. But there are always other options before suicide. Always.
