I wish people that make statements like this actually had to spend a few days because a few days is all you could take of what happens to kids in third world countries and then I would like to hear your treatment here in the US is third world. You think the kids in Iraq have schools do you think there little girls get to go to school. Do you know what a true orphanage looks like with hundred of little kids walking around because there whole family is dead and they have no place to go. Its the most flippant thing every time I hear people like you think the US has wronged you. Your worst day in the US is some kids best day in a third world country so appreciate what you do have.
Ok, maybe you are right. But what about the poor communities that exist in low-income areas of the United States? We should compare them to what a third world country is like, then.

What about if you can't write spanish really well, and how do admissions work, for those of us who have a bachelors degree and might want to be a doctors, dentist etc.

Tenoch24, if you can't write spanish very well you can enroll in an intensive writing course in a university. Since you'd be a citizen, the cost would be very low. It wont be a big problem since Mexican universities dont stress too much writing as in the US, except for programs in literature, philosophy, or law.

In Mexico you dont have to have a bachelor's degree to get into a dentistry or medical program. Students enroll after high school. However, admission for medical programs is very competitive and, like in the US, only a few students are admited each term, which may be every semester or year, depending on the school. For dentistry programs, it is not that hard to get into.

In your case that you have a bachelor's, the entrance exam would be easier, and you would have more chances of getting admitted. Medical and dentistry programs typically last 6-7 years for medical and 5-6 years for dentistry.

For any of these programs, you'll have to be able to read, learn, and memorize many shelves of books. So, start practicing your Spanish reading if you decide to study in Mexico.

Hispanics and Blacks make a lower amount of household income per year than Whites. It's disappointing to report that fact, but it's true. This ties in to Bernie Sanders 8 hour rant about the condition of America's economy today and how America's middle class is slowly getting eradicated. Everyone is heading downward in this economy, but it's a greater shockwave on minorities, such as you and I.

I really wish that things had been much different for you because trying to get educated with these kinds of difficulties and stresses is something that you don't deserve. I think that if things were easy for you (just like an American student) you probably would have performed better in a college than they have. Your grades in classes and your GPA would be higher than the other students, especially in the field of Engineering.

When I read political sites and come across other forums of people who reply that they are against the DREAM Act or immigration reform, I find it bizarre to believe. These people, who are immigrants who want a college education and want to get assimilated into the American college experience are trying to get an bachelor's degree education, which is the gateway to the real world and becoming a productive worker for the country. That's what the immigration acts are about and to deny them that right (to get educated) states that they should be locked in a lifetime of a third-world standard of living and poverty, as you've already expressed in this thread.

Even though the DA failed because of a minority of senators (41) voting against the interest of giving you a good quality education, we clearly had a majority of people who understood our cause. We had more than 50% of the American people on our side and more than 50% of the senators in the House and the Senate. In 2013, we will have the majority again and it will get passed for sure.
U dont have near those percentages any longer in the House or the Senate.

There is no comparison to the poorest city in the US to any third world country. Believe me when I say this cause I have been in third world countries and given security and aid to people of third world countries till units get there to do there job. In third world countries you do not have clean water, sewage , sewage running down hand dug trecnches in the streets, people live in mud homes like Iraq, no electricity. There is no city in this country that compares to any third world country. Is funny to hear people here like the US goverment has so mistreated them really? Whens the last time you went without a meal? whens the last time you had to go the bathroom in a paint bucket in your mud home, when is the last time your lights in your home never came on. when is the last time you had to sleep on your roof because its a 122 degrees outside. We are all spoiled especially people that come from different countries and say the US has been bad to them for not giving them citizenship travel the world and see just how bad you could have it. Its ugly real ugly. And the sad thing is there is far more people in this world living under those elements than there are living in elements of any western country but for some reason the US just does not give enough. I wish for everyone who thinks they have it bad in the US would spend one week in a third world country then comeback and see what you say. This immigration battle would take a whole new tone it would be like please pass what every law you want against this cause and we will accept anything you give us just please don't send us to place like that again. Instead we get the we are owed non sense. You know that there is some god awful number of children that die everyday dont you like 25,000 of diseases like malaria, starvation , think about that and the US poorest city would be heaven to everyone one of those children. And I gurantee they would not have one complaint in the world. like educate me, give me citizenship, give me college aid you would never hear one word of that.

Wow, I'm just sitting here laughing at your post right now.

There are so many things wrong with your replies on here, it's a waste of time for me to bother responding back to you.

I did not get a 10-year ban because I did not tell them I had been in the United States illegally. They do not investigate. There are too many applications to be processed. Never, never tell them that you were illegal in the country. If your fingerprints have been recorded because of being arrested or whatever, then they'll find out about your previous stay in the US. If you want to cross legally into the country from Mexico, always paint yourself as a good Mexican citizen that wants to spend money and behave well. Show them you have money in the bank, show them you want to return to Mexico upon finishing your travel. That is what immigration likes. Remember that.
