With all the focus on economy and joblessness and a president with approval rating getting close to that of Bush (until the last poll released this week by organizations with dubious claim to independency), what do you think of the chances for immigration to be mentioned in the upcoming State of the Union speech?
My guess is, if it is ever mentioned, it is going to be in negative context, with talk about stronger border enforcement and such.

Lets wait and see. I'm pretty sure he'll talk about that and I expect him to elaborate more on his meeting with the Chinese president, Hu Jintao.

Obama will probably mention immigration for 5 seconds, and it will be posted on DA forum like immigration reform will happen anytime soon.
Guys, get ready to praise Obama for mentioning immigration for 5 seconds.

I think Immigration and DA will be talked for a while. Obama was not happy when DA failed.

Don't get your hopes up bro. I would not be surprised if Obama already forgot about DA and doesn't mention it at all in the state of union. It is time to become realistic and logical that we really are free, free to use all the resources available to us in whatever fashion we would like to. There's no point in crying over something that we don't have and have no control over. I myself am struggling to get a hold of this idea but I'm making gradual progress. I've realized that taking so much stress and tension over the past few months has been taking a toll and I'm afraid that it is taking away months maybe years from my life. That mornings vote has been haunting me and literally giving me nightmares where I'm swearing and fighting everyone around me including my parents. I suggest to those of you feeling extraordinary anger, frustration, and disbelief to consider this as well.
