how long are you willing to wait for an amnesty or some kind of resolution. i am sure everyone has poked at this matter on this site. i am working on transferring to a uni soon and freaking out about the costs, etc. been thinking about applying for financial aid but don't want any unwanted attention. meanwhile canada offers a chance at permanent residency upon completing studies. but my passport is expired lol. ain't life a shit....

Well, I am thinking about immigrating to Canada later in my life. Amnesty is never going to happen as we know GOP strongly oppose it and Democrats don't want to get blamed for being too soft on immigration. (Democrats will hesitate forever to pass any kind of solution)
If this country rejects hard working, intelligent undocumented children, these children need to find other countries such as Canada and Austrailia to pursue better future.

Until I finish college (NY so I get in-state), if nothing is going to happen by then I'm either moving to canada, australia or UK.

Obviously, they don't want us here so we should go and make Euro or Chinese currency stronger.
