CIR is such an expensive deal it will cost hundred of millions of dollars to put in affect all the things that were in the last CIR legislation from E-verify, 11 million people going home and coming back , back taxes being paid, fines being assessed . The Dream Act is a low maintenance low cost legalize 1.5 million people and its done. CIR you have to spend money on extra IRS,BP, Courts it will take forever to get all those in place.

Obama had sent troops to the border last year and authorized additional funds. Wasnt this part of border security??? These people should get their act together.

republicans always do this they always throw a carrot for democrats to bite and then when dems go for it they move it away 10 steps further, but atleast they know what they are doing, its so stupid though how dems arent able to get their head in the game and use those same tactics that republicans use against them, call them out on all their racist xenophobic measures until they finally decide to change for the better

The State of Texas, Arizona,New Mexico and california all asked for troops totaling around 10,000 troops and Obama pissed all those governor off by sending 1500. He did add 600 million additional dollars but that does not all go to troops and additional BP agents. Goes for Jails being built and border fencing and that ridiculous border security system that did not work from Boeing. I wished he would send troops because that would make the Dream act pass quicker if he showed any kind action.

I am weighing in on the US budget this is going to be a battle between the parties. If they make the cuts they have been saying then there is no money for the cost of CIR it would cost hundred of millions of dollars for all the additional labor not counting administration, eye test cards, e-verify and all those other programs that is some jack. Thats why I think the Dream act will happpen.

nick's right, the only way to ensure both sides keep their end of the deal would be to bundle all things into the same bill, otherwise once the republicans get the sealed borders, theyre more than likely to jump bail on their agreements, u all heard of a flip flop before? at the current rate things are going itll probably be 5-10 years before theyve found a way to deport everyone, and then theyll be oh ok yea lets do CIR now

These budgets are scary to look at here in Texas thousands of teachers being laid off every school district is millions in the hole. Wisconsin teachers are marcinng in the streets for cuts to there pay, California is laying off 100o's of teachers. Maybe people are finally starting to understand what broke means.Every person and every person born right now owes $40,000 dollars in debt. I dont know what is going to happen with all these states broke but its happening fast and there is something every single day. Scary again that is why we can get the Dream Act passed but do you really see any state paying more money so undocumented people can become legal 11 million of them. Shit were just a broke freaking country.
