Easy there DA User. he's not going to give "dreamer' TPS, he's certainly not going to put his career on the line for us.

Finally! We need to do something. The attention needs to be on us!

I called during the day time and spoke with a very nice lady who will pass the message on. The idea is not just to think it will never happen. The concept is to put the only man in the world who can help us to make a decision. Yes or no. Staying quiet like the Egyptians did for 30 years didn't work. In 18 days of protest they won! Why are we staying quiet? Are we asking too much? A temporary solution until the congress can agree on a permanent solution. It has to happen. What will happen to all the millions of us if it doesn't?

BTW: if it does go to voice mail leave the message. Keep pounding the phones. Fax the letter that is in the sticky. It faxes very nice with the photo's.

Lets start the phone campaign on Monday. Blitz Monday for temporary relief.

Accept it people, Obama doesn't give a flying fuck about immigration. Look at all the videos and point one out where he talks about reform in front of a non-latino audience. Thats right, nowhere. He said "as something we can do now [2008 campaign] is to pass the dream act", dems had a majority back then, was dream act even considered then? Nope. Later he said that CIR within 100 days, the honey moon period and 1.5 more years were wasted trying to pass HCR, they finally on December 17th we get a vote where 6 assholes from his own party voted against...

Don't listen to Demise. Demise does not speak for Obama. This is defeatist attitude. Don't listen to negative weak people. We want positive, strong and assertive. If you have no hope then stop posting on this site.

You can get knocked out only so many times. Eventually you will feel the same exact way. If obama was honest during his campaign CIR would come in the honeymoon period (or maybe even bush's lame duck period), not dream act on the very end on the 112th congress.


I am hopeful for reform, but I am not insane. I know that shit will not get done if it didn't get done when democrats had overwhelming majorities in both houses.

While you're on the phone with Mr. Obama, tell him to at least get rid of the 10yr ban for dreamers. Since he anit doing sh*t for dreamers he can at least help us leave without not being able to visit friends and family.

why is everyone being so negative? it doesnt hurt to try. why not call. if you dont call. you will never know but if you do than you know you did something useful instead of sitting home all day long waiting for the gov to do something
