Urgent: Virginia's Bills on Immigration - Page 2

If you are undocumented you already can't apply to a Virginia college!!! Name one college in Virginia that let's undocumented immigrants join......this is bunch of bullshit!! They are just trying to make it look like they are doing something...pretty much this is for votes from the extreme right wing of Virginia!

Texas is going to be even worse than Arizona if all these bills on immigration pass. Which is a no brainier since the Republicans are the over whelming majority. Did ya see what the democratic politicians did in Wisconsin today facing the same challenges with the Republicans cutting there pay and having a voting majority 19 dems left the state and held the vote up. They now have police investigation where there hiding pretty balsy seeing its against the law for them. Guess they felt they had to do something.

That's my main concern, I wonder how it is going to happen. Are they just going to kick us out all of the sudden?

I believe a couple of my undocumented friends attended George Mason, but I'm not 100% on that. I myself was going to apply to Virginia Tech in around 2005/2006 but I didn't have the economic means and the counselor from VTech told me that my application would be shot down because of my status.

Are you sure they're undocumented? they are probably international students. Even I tried getting into that university but my counselor said it would not be possible. If it's true, whether they are undocumented or international students, they would be paying an outrageous amount of money.

It's only a matter of time before they come back and try to get us again.

Utah has a bill similar to the Arizona one, and it passed the house of representatives yesterday. Also, another bill passed to take away in-state tuition from undocumented students, same, yesterday. I need to get out of here.
