Please no rude comments. I really need advice right now. Ok so like everybody else I am an ab540 student. I did not get accepted to nursing school. Sk basically my 2 years of studying hard is down the drain. I talked to my counselor and basically it's hard to get to the program if your an ab540 student because you can't get the NCLEX test anyway. so what do you guys think are my choices or alternatives now??? What is everybody else doing after college??? Please help. Is changing majors any good??? If it is... Then what major.??? Thanks a lot!!!!

If you are artsy and somewhat tech savvy you could freelance on graphic and web design while you work on a different major just to have a backup plan to gtfo of the country, even as a newbie your hourly rate could be as low as $20/hr as high as$120-150/hr if you have seniority. There are also lots of trades and technical careers you could go for, college education is overrated and most people don't need a degree in the first place although people who would like to work abroad are pretty much forced to have proper qualifications. Canada seems to value people who fall under these categories. Also it shouldn't be too hard to move elsewhere when you have a degree and want to continue your education, all you need to do is to get a master's degree and apply for residency, Canada does this, Germany helps you find a job after you graduate and you can apply for residency while working there. I don't know much about other countries.

Did you try to apply there? What were the key issues that you faced then? If you tell in details?
