The best thing that happened to African Americans is that their ancestors were sold as slaves.

If their ancestors weren't, African Americans would still be stuck in Africa today.

What a DUMB, IDIOTIC, and IGNORANT thing to say. If your country is so great why are you here.

Africa is not as bad as it is portrayed on TV, and if 2faces family can afford to be here, they must have not been that bad off.

rofl i hope you're black. but he has a pt though. Similarly, if Hawaii was never occupied by US would it have a GDP of $17K today as opposed to Phillippine(formerly occupied by US)'s $4K? Hawaii has more GDP than S.Korea right now.

If Phillippine never liberated from US, there would be no Filipino dreamer right now and all dreamers would be jealous of Filipinos.

Also if US never occupied S.Korea w/ military, S.Korea would never have been supported financially by US and thus not grow economically (or at least not this fast).

I'd be the first to admit, I'm kind of jealous of S.Koreans babies being adopted by US foster parents (but it probably has more to do w/ my family prob.).

Never heard of a country called Liberia, founded by former US slaves repatriated to West Africa after the Civil War?

You bet citizens of Liberia are angry that their ancestors chose to return to Africa, or they too would have been the citizens of the US had their ancestors stayed in the Deep South. Instead they are now in Liberia, one of most unstable places in Africa.

For your information, everyone from a third world country doesn't want to live in the US, they don't mind visiting, but living here, not so much.
This is a gathering place of Dreamers, people who DO want to stay in the US.

Depends if you have a valuable degree I'd leave to Europe. The way I see it in 2 years you will see a huge tax increase due to all these idiots passing stupid bills in congress and how in the world our military is running I will never know. The military burns through money faster the Lindsey blows it on coke.

By all means stay here. You should see it rather than "what can my country offer me," but as "what can I offer my country."

Think about it

That's not an appropriate thing to say if you yourself haven't lived in Africa. I'm sure there are immense struggles there. But from my experience, I can tell you that people in Kenya and Africa for that matter live based on their terms. They are happy. My family was doing just fine when we moved. So if we were to move back, it would be a struggle in the beginning in order to establish again but I'm sure it would not be that hard. One major reason why families consider moving is for their children. The education system over there isn't anywhere close to the ones in America, UK, Australia etc.

I'm sort of in the same situation. Look into a pre-nup and how that will impact everything.

Go with your initial thought. Citizenship is meaningless, at least to me. Anyway, I hope that you make the right decision.

Best of luck !
