So I spoke up for my legal right to stay here and the United States government wants to finally prosecute me in court.

That's probably the best thing that could ever happen to me, but do we really want them to spend five years and thousands of dollars litigating the matter in court, only to lose anyway?

While my law school friends are thoroughly pissed that this is happening to me during final examination period, I know a lot of immigrant rights advocates are amused by these proceedings and want to see a court battle. They will use this as a way to shame the administration and get a deferred action program in place for all Dreamers. I also know I have no time for this and there is no way I'm putting my family under this stress.

It would be great to get your support. You just need to sign this petition, for now:

Thanks.

Came online to say that I signed your petition. No matter what, you are a highly educated woman so don't let your status prevent you from pursuing your dreams as a lawyer!

What 2Face mentioned. She did not get deported besides the petition does not seem to exist. Additionally I wish the reason why they were prosecuting her in court had come to light, ICE was literally begging to be made fun of for their incompetence in doing the simplest of checking.

Lets not spread misinformation and talk about things you are clueless about. I'm still in proceedings.
