To All,
I can't possibly understand what it's like to live every day in your shoes. The uncertainty you must have to endure from day to day and about your whole future has got to be harder than the rest of us can imagine. I'm sincerely sorry for your dilemma!

I know there are many issues, aspects and views regarding the status of immigration. Yet, some parts of the whole seem so simple to me. I honestly believe a panel of ordinary people could devise a plan within a week if they were so empowered. I am a Christian first and foremost, and most would consider me to be a political conservative, and I am for you. Regardless of the circumstances that brought you to the U.S. I believe that a path to citizenship should be devised for you. This country needs good, law-abiding, hard working people from all backgrounds.

I pray you will be allowed to stay and that you will be allowed to unite with us in citizenship. God Bless You!!!

Jim

Thank you so much, it's great to get support from Americans who are not in our situation.

Yea it's funny how most conservatives are Christians. How can Christians be so cruel to other people, specially young adults? Hypocrites, no wonder I stopped believing in this non-sense.

All that aside, Thanks for your understanding of our situation and I hope more and more "bible abiding" citizens can open their minds about it.

Glad to be here. Thanks for your welcoming words!

I am learning ................ I know our laws are important, and I know that this is one reason the U.S. is successful and a desireable place to be. That said, our immigration laws need change. And, of more immediate importance the reality of the present situation calls for some "outside the box" thinking, flexibility, and love. I truly believe that a panel of 5 people from different walks of life could solve the issues and rewrite the laws in a week! I don't mean that the obstacles are not significant and important. They are! But I think common sense and compassion as guides would overcome the obstacles.

I hope that somehow our elected officials would find the courage to put the next election aside and consider the issue as though their own family members and friends were the people involved. I think they would see things differently!

I also hope that everyone wanting to be a part of this great nation, with the faults it has as nothing invented by man is perfect, respects and understands that we need to make good laws and then enforce them.

I hope for your success! I hope that every native born citizen will understand, and then pressure their legislators to get busy and devise the answer that will give law-abiding people who are already here a path to citizenship.

God Bless.......
