I go to CUNY. Went to the transfer unit at school. They wanted SSN instead of the usual student ID number. It was unusual to be asked to provide specifically SNN, NOT the student ID number. The reason is that now my colllege use different student ID number from other CUNY colleges. Since I transferred from different CUNY college, they needed my SSN to find my previous record.

The lady didn't explain any of this. She was giving me THE look (the -Seriously? - Unbelievable- What the hell- look). She said "You have to have SSN. You should've gotten it from blah-blah place even if you were an international student."

I just walked out of there.

I thought I was already used to things like this. I am in my senior year, about to graduate. But it still hurts so much.

She was just clueless. I've dealt with bitches like that at my community college too. One time, I was trying to get my transcripts and the fat bitch at the office kept telling me that I needed my SSN. I was like bitch, I don't have one and she refused to give me anything. So right away I ran like a little bitch to go talk to my counselor. So then that bitch went and gave the fatter bitch at the office a strangling.

So I was trying to donate blood for a local blood drive and they required an I.D.
I wasn't able to donate.
Sad reality.

I am sorry to hear that. I don't have a particular illness but my doctor told me I barely have enough blood for my own body to function normally;;;

I hated blood drive. I remember when I was in high school, all 12 of my classmates from calculus class gave blood during class. My friends just keep pressing me to go. I don't have a SSN, so I have to make a stupid excuse for not going. I just stay in the room myself and wanted to cry so bad. I just want to be like everybody else.

Yeah it was like that at my school too, with the addition that all the students that came back were flaunting their free t-shirts and colorful band-aids like they were given free Gucci products, lol, rub it in your face much.
