I'm pregnant..
and my 'soon to be husband' is actually looking for a lawyer now.. but that's gonna take some time.

For the time being, I do need to go to the doctor... but it's so costly since I have no insurance or since I don't get any benefits from the government.

I was wondering if there are any ways to get some financial help or medical help without SSN.

Go to a planned parenthood clinic, they might be able to help you out.

i would call the clinic beforehand. just ask them what you need to bring with you and anything else you wanna ask. if they say that you need ssn/ID, just say that you don't have them (you don't actually have to say that you're undocumented) and see what they say from there. good luck!

Local clinics should be your best option. I know there is a lot of help out there you just need to dig around...

I think you can get some type of Medicaid..

You could try to find a local clinic if you’re going to keep the baby, not Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood was formed to provide birth control to women who needed it but their doctors wouldn't prescribe it for them. After abortion became legal, they started giving advice to women who were looking to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. I don’t think it’s the place to go during a wanted pregnancy.

You should go to a Crisis Pregnancy Center. It is pro-life pregnancy testing center. You will only be given information on keeping the baby or giving it up for adoption. Kind of like an anti-Planned Parenthood. (:

Good luck!
