I have a question for those who have experience with obtaining a business license.
Basically, I would like to know how difficult/easy it is to obtain a business license.
When you apply for your business license, did the city/county clerk ask you for any IDs upon submitting your application? I noticed on my city’s business license application that it requires an EIN (which I could obtain from the IRS without any trouble) or SSN, but it also requires a driver’s license number.
What this boils down to is whether I could apply for a business license with just an EIN (or ITIN) and no Driver License or state ID.
I greatly appreciate any advice from those who has experiences with this matter.
In most cases you are going to have to provide a License Or State I.D but that's ok you can work your way around many situations...
You might want to consider partnering in an LLC or using a family members named and Drivers license ...
At the end of the day making money is all you really care about... Try being creative I had a legal bussiness a while back.. I was lucky enough that my dad has the same name as me and he has a legal california license..
