Hey. Does anyone know if you can get a DL from CT (or New Haven which is in CT)?. What documents would you need to show? I heard about that recently. Or anywhere else from the Northeast if possible.

In CT you need to be legal or a citizen in order to apply for a DL.

My friend OP I would be driving a car by now if CT actually had lenient rules regarding licenses. Still Connecticut is an awesome state...Let's cherish the recently passed Dream Act...FINALLY in state tuition for CT dreamers!

I try looking up online about this and there is nothing that he has signed it. I'll go by your word, so do you know the process to apply to a university? Is there a special application or something?

Edit: I just try applying to Uconn and there is nothing about the dream act or anything.

Edit 2: Yeah you are right, he did sign the law but I still can't find any information on how to apply.
Here is an article on he signing it http://www.ct.gov/malloy/cwp/view.asp?A=11&Q=481424.
