I"m not really sure... I think they do... But why go to the gym when you can do push-ups and sit-ups at home... It's all you need Plus the 20min run around the neighborhood....

Well I signed up back like two years ago at LA Fitness and all they asked for was a Visa, Dude and dont pay monthly at 24hour fitness. Go to sams club or costco they have 2 year gym memberships for $340 dollars or something like that and every month comes out to like $12.99 dollars check it out.

Yes. I signed up with a Matricula a couple years back. A buddy of mine is on that thing Franko's talking about. Thinking of doing the same.

Gyms require ID?? I dont recall needing one back in high school. I think a passport would work anyway

I go to the YMCA. All they asked for is an ID and my passport worked. I think its just to identify you and your birthdate so they can put you on the system and issue a gym ID. Shouldn't be any problem.

It's going to be fine. They want your money more than your ID.

The Y is the shiznit..Unfortunately mine doesn't have a swimming pool but the steam room feels like a million dollars after lifting some weights. Most gyms have these facilities...definitely need to join a gym if you don't already go.
