Round trip should be around $250. Depending on when you depart and from where to where and the type or airlines.

@and no theyre regular licenses, can use them for airplanes.
also it is super cheap to live in seattle!, i lived there for 2 years and of course left with way more than i came in with .
jobs are easy to get there and a room in an awesome house shouldnt cost more than 500 a month which is easy money to make up in seattle.

Wait, they interview you when you apply for a license? I thought you just needed to fill out some forms and turn them in along with the required documents.

The interview is for showing proof of residence. It doesn't matter what you bring, it's all up to the interviewer to decide if he/she wants to give you the license. My interviewer is racist and just try to give me a hard time. He has a huge tattoo across his arm. He keep looking at my documents and flipping my empty passport and ask me a million questions. At the end he just said that he doesn't trust me that I am a resident of Washington and told me to get out.

Work permits would be awesome. I'm sick of working for small businesses.

Aww that sucks. Have you considered going back later after you can afford it?
